After some discussion of where we would eat tonight, it was in a unanimous vote to go to Gloria‘s. We called ahead and ask for a reservation for four in 15 minutes and we pleasantly surprised when we were able to get one on such short notice. When we arrived, we were seated immediately and our drink orders were taken. We ordered our food and it arrived within 10 minutes. We always enjoy Gloria’s because the ambience is perfect and although it’s always very busy but not so busy that we cannot hear each other at our table. Tonight happened to be the day of Dia de los Muertas so there were several who were dressed appropriately to celebrate. It made it extra fun. Gloria’s makes every get together special because their attention to customers and the food is on spot.

One of my favorite restaurants on Greenville Avenue! Fresh Salvadoran food and friendly service. The chips and beans are SO good, you might not have room for dinner if you are not careful. I usually order carne asada with rice beans, plantains and yucca fries or a tropical salad if I want something lighter.

Very nice restaurant. Food and service was great. We are relatively new to Texas, and I thought I found another special place to eat. My Texas resident daughter informed me that they had taken us to Gloria's when we visited one year. That's when I discovered that it is a chain eatery. They are doing something special, because this place didn't feel like a chain at all. I won't hesitate retuning.

My wife and I visited on Saturday during the Greenville Ave St. Patrick’s Day Parade and were seated right away. Despite the holiday, they had a modified menu that still included all the classic options. Our waitress greeted us promptly, and chips and salsa hit the table so fast, I barely had time to glance at the menu before grabbing a chip. We placed our order, and before we could even settle in, a sizzling plate of fajitas arrived—steaming hot and ready to go. It had to be under five minutes! We had barely made a dent in the chips before the food showed up—it was that fast. Our drinks stayed full, and our waitress checked on us multiple times. With the chaos of the St. Patrick’s Day crowd, we expected slower service and long waits. Instead, we got the opposite—quick, attentive, and friendly service that went above and beyond. I highly recommend this location and will definitely be visiting again!
